We want to rethink an outdated system.

Today’s major platforms take cuts we believe are far larger than they need to be. Bounty HTR is being built around a model designed to challenge that: creators keep more of the reward, backers avoid bloated fees, and the platform stops coming first.

So what is the new system?

A Bounty Board for Creative Work— where the users come first.

Sponsors post the details on work they want to exist and creators answer with submissions. Real money goes to the real people who complete the bounty. That’s the whole starting point: a simpler way to connect demand with talent.

A bounty makes the offer visible from the start: what needs made, what it pays, and what counts as finished. That gives creators a clear reason to engage before they spend their time, while giving sponsors a simpler way to attract the right creator.

Shift the workload of finding talented creators to the platform. Put a funded request on the dashboards of creatives worldwide instead of going door to door with individual requests.

Keep control of an unfulfilled reward.

The intended policy is simple: if a bounty is not fulfilled, the reward stays yours. Repost it, revise it, or save it for another bounty. The goal is to guarantee results; until the platform can do that, unfulfilled bounties are designed to offer a refund so you can try again.

To do this, we had to build something new.

The Bounty HTR console is where sponsors and creators move work—designed with functionality at its forefront, this is the heart of the project, and the testing ground for our new model of funding projects.

Yes, it is ironic. Bounty HTR is being built as the cleaner way to fund work directly, but until our own bounty board is live, we are using the platforms already standing to launch the base. Kickstarter and GoFundMe are the scaffolding. Bounty HTR is the thing we are climbing toward.
